Details are still a bit scarce but the series is set to be released February 2027 and is being produced by the now legendary WIT Studio. You may recognize the name from the slew of hit titles they have produced over the years such as, Spy x Family, Attack on Titan and Vinland Saga.

Story
Foosha Village is located at the edge of the East Blue.
Monkey D. Luffy, a boy from the village, ate a Devil Fruit and became a rubber man, whose body can stretch like rubber!
After meeting the great pirate Shanks, Luffy dreams of becoming a pirate himself.
Shanks promises to meet Luffy again at sea, entrusts him with his straw hat, and sets sail.
Ten years later, a grown-up Luffy sets sail alone across the vast ocean, his unwavering dream still alive.
"I'm going to be the Pirate King!!!" he declares proudly.
A new anime series based on the manga "ONE PIECE" will be produced, starting from the first chapter of the "East Blue Arc."
WIT STUDIO will be handling the production, and it is scheduled to be released on Netflix and other platforms.
Release Date: Worldwide streaming begins on Netflix in February 2027!
