Xbox Series X: 25th Anniversary Edition

As part of their 2026 Xbox Games showcase, Microsoft has revealed the limited edition translucent green 25th anniversary Xbox Series X console and controller. 

To celebrate 25 years of XBOX built alongside players, we’re introducing the XBOX 25th anniversary collection. Inspired by the look and feel of the original XBOX console, both the console and controller feature a translucent OG Green design, with subtle tributes to the journey we’ve been on together. You’ll also discover a few hidden surprises throughout, as a thank you to the community. - Jason Ronald, VP Next Generation

The console and controller will be sold as a bundle starting in November, with the console retaining the same specs as the standard series X. The controller will also be available separately for those not looking to splurge on an entirely new console but still looking for the nostalgic translucent green look. The controller even sports the same color scheme on the XYBA and bumper buttons as the original “Duke” controller.

The exact date hasn’t been revealed but you can sign up now to receive alerts when the console drops on Xbox’s website.
